What to do

Verify that you are using the wireless GameCube Controller for Nintendo Switch 2, model No. BEE-021. The model number can be found on the back of the controller.
- If a different accessory is being used, replacing it with the correct controller may resolve the problem.
Unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet. Unplug the USB-C charging cable from the AC plug and whatever it is plugged in to at the other end. Leave them unplugged for thirty seconds.
- While performing this step, verify you are using the Nintendo Switch 2 AC adapter (model No. NGN-01) and check for any cuts, kinks, frayed cables, etc.
- If any damage is found to the USB-C cable or the AC plug, or if a different charger is being used, replacing them with the correct accessory may resolve the problem.

Connect the USB-C charging cable to the AC plug, plug the AC plug directly into a wall outlet, and connect the AC adapter directly to the USB connector on the GameCube Controller.
- While charging, the recharge LED on the GameCube Controller will remain lit. (Once the battery charge is complete, the recharge LED will power off.)

- Player LEDs turn on momentarily, then shut off

- Player LEDs don't turn on at all
  
  If the recharge LED remains lit while the AC adapter is plugged in, but the player LEDs do not turn on, allow the GameCube Controller to charge for at least 15 to 30 minutes. Then pair it to the system..
- Controller has charged but player LEDs don't turn on, or charge does not last very long
  If any of the scenarios below apply, the GameCube Controller will need to be serviced:
  
  The GameCube Controller has charged for at least 15 to 30 minutes, but the player LEDs will not turn on at all when a button is pressed.
  
  The battery charge on the GameCube Controller does not last very long even after charging for at least 3.5 hours.
