Steps for enabling wired communication with a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller when it is connected to a Nintendo Switch 2 console using the USB charging cable.
Complete these steps
- From the HOME Menu, select System Settings.
- Scroll down to Controllers & Accessories.
- In the Controllers & Accessories options, scroll down to Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Wired Communication and toggle it on or off as desired.
Additional information
- While the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is using wired communication with a Nintendo Switch 2 console, the NFC touchpoint on the controller will be disabled.
- Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controllers automatically use wired communication when connected to Nintendo Switch 2 via USB cable, and are still be able to use NFC features when using wired communication with the console.
