How to Access/Change the Quick Settings on Nintendo Switch 2

Complete these steps

1. Press and hold the HOME Button for at least one second to access Quick Settings. Within the Quick Settings screen you can access the following options:
   • Sleep Mode: Set the console to sleep mode.
     • Sleep Mode can be configured to lock the system through System Settings.
   • Auto-Brightness: Enable/disable screen brightness adjustment based on ambient brightness.
   • Screen Brightness: Manually adjust screen brightness.
   • Volume Control: Adjust the volume for the active audio source (console speakers, wireless Bluetooth headphones, a wired headset, external speakers, or in VR mode).
   • Airplane Mode: Disable all wireless communication functionality, including Internet communication, local communication, Bluetooth, and the NFC Reader/Writer. Some types of wireless communication can still be switched on manually when the console is in airplane mode.
     Important: If the Joy-Con 2 are detached from the Nintendo Switch 2 console when airplane mode is activated (tabletop mode), you must tap the console screen and enable Bluetooth communications within System Settings > Airplane Mode > Bluetooth in order to operate the console with the Joy-Con 2.
   • GL/GR Buttons: When a compatible controller is connected and you have launched software, you can map the GL and GR Buttons to other buttons on the controller for convenience. This setting is saved on a per-game and per-user basis and is shared between different compatible controllers.
   • Button Mapping: Must be enabled through System Settings. You can jump to the Button Mapping menu to change mapping for a controller or swap between different presets.
2. To exit Quick Settings, perform one of the following actions:
   • Press the B Button
   • Press the HOME Button
   • Tap outside of the Quick Settings screen
