Help for when water or other liquid has been spilled on the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
What to do
- Immediately unplug and power off your console any time any liquid is spilled on it. As with any electrical appliance, there is a risk of electrical shock if it is used while wet.

How to power off a Nintendo Switch 2 console
- Press and hold the POWER Button
for at least three seconds.
- Select Power Options.
- Select Power Off.
- Liquid entered the console
- Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth.
- Let the console air-dry for a few days.
Important: Do not apply any type of heat to speed up the process (blow-dryers, heaters, microwave ovens, etc.), as this may cause damage to the console.
- Power on the console.
Situation not resolved
If the console isn't working after air-drying, it will need to be serviced.
