Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo Has No Power

What to do

1. Check that the USB cable is securely plugged in to the USB connector on the bottom of Alarmo and the other end of the cable is securely an AC adapter plugged into an outlet that provides power.
   • The USB-C connector on Alarmo is damaged

     If any damage is found to the USB-C connector at the bottom of the device, it will need to come in for service.

2. Confirm that you’re using a supported power cable and AC adapter that supplies 5V/1.5A/7.5W of power or higher.
   • Current cable/AC adapter is not powerful enough

     If the cable or AC adapter do not supply enough power to the device it may not power on, or may shut off when the alarm rings. Test the device with a different cable.

     A new cable or AC adapter can be purchased from Nintendo Store.

3. Check the cable and AC adapter for damage. Damage can include frayed or split cord, loose connectors, kinks, etc.
   • The cable/AC adapter is damaged

     If either the cable or AC adapter are damaged, they will need to be replaced.

     A new cable or AC adapter can be purchased from Nintendo Store.

4. Unplug the device from power.
5. Wait 20 seconds then plug the device back in.
6. Try a different AC adapter and cable. A Nintendo Switch AC adapter is compatible with Alarmo.
   • Don’t have a second AC adapter or cable

     Your device will need to come in for service. For testing purposes include the cable and AC adapter.
