Alarm Didn’t Sound at the Set Time On Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo

Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo

Steps for when the alarm doesn’t go off, or ring, at the set time on Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo.

Before you start

You will need:

  • Your Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo

You may need to move your device or items within the sensor zone while troubleshooting.

What to do

  • Check that the alarm is turned on
    1. Open the Menu by pressing the Confirm Button once. Press the Confirm Button on Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo
    2. Turn the dial to find the Alarm On/Off screen. Turn the dial on Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo
    3. Press the Confirm Button.
    4. Follow the prompts to set the alarm to On and for the day(s) intended.
    5. Press the Back Button twice to return to the clock.
    6. Check the bottom of the main clock screen for an indicator that an alarm is set. Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo with an alarm set for 7 AM.
  • Check sensor zone for moving objects
    1. Open the Menu by pressing the Confirm Button once.
    2. Turn the dial to find the Help screen.
    3. Press the Confirm Button.
    4. Turn the dial to find the Check Sensor Zone screen.
    5. Press the Confirm Button to start the check.
      • If it passes the check, no moving objects were found in the sensor zone.
      • If it fails the check, a moving object was found in the sensor zone and it likely is what’s preventing the alarm from functioning properly. Remove the moving object and run the check again.
  • Test the alarm

Test your alarm to confirm it’s functioning as expected. We recommend that you set a new alarm in the near future to test that the alarm is functioning properly and then set it back to your preferred time after the test.

Situation not resolved

If you’re unable to get the alarm to go off, your device will need to come in for service.

For your convenience, Nintendo provides a quick and easy-to-use online service request process.

Additional information

Only one alarm can be set at a time. For example, if you had an alarm set for 9am, and then set a new alarm for 10am, the alarm will go off only at 10am.
