Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo First-Time Setup
Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo
Steps on setting up your Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo device for the first time.
Before you start
- An AC adapter is not included in the box, but is required to use Alarmo.
- The AC adapter should be a USB Type-A to C and capable of supplying at least 5V/1.5A/7.5W of power.
- If you need to purchase an AC adapter, they are available at Nintendo Store.
- Alarmo uses a motion sensor in most Modes to detect movement when waking up. Make sure you have a sturdy place to set up your device that has an unobstructed view of where the person using the device sleeps.
Complete these steps
- Place your Alarmo on a flat surface so the sensor zone has visibility to where the user will be sleeping, such as next to the bed and near a wall outlet for power.
- You will indicate where you’ve placed Alarmo in relation to the bed during setup.
- The device should be within 20in/50cm from the edge of the bed
and no higher than 8in/20cm above the bed.
- Connect the included USB-C cable into the USB connector on the bottom of Alarmo.
- Connect the USB-C cable into the wall outlet using a USB Power Adapter (sold separately).
- Follow the on-screen prompts and use the dial and Confirm Button on top of the device to complete the following for first-time setup.
- Language, Region, Time Zone, and Date
- Time
- Alarmo’s Sensor Zone. This will require you to have Alarmo placed on a flat surface, and you will be given movement prompts to calibrate the motion sensor.
- Set Alarm Scene and Mode
- Set Alarm Time
