Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model

Law 25 is a Quebec law that applies to the online collection of personal information from children under 14 years of age.

  • Before children age 13 and under can participate in any online activities that collect personal information from the child user, a parent or guardian must set up a Nintendo Account for them. To assure that a parent or guardian sets up the account, they will need to go through the Verifiable Parental Consent process while setting up the Nintendo Account for the child.
  • Once a child’s account has been created, parents can set restrictions on using specific online games, applications, and features.
