Steps for when you try to play a game online, but you receive error code 2618-0514 and the message: "Unable to connect to the other console(s). Please try again later."
Note: This error code generally indicates multiple players have a suboptimal network connection during the online matchmaking process. This may be due to the following:
- The network NAT type is not optimal for creating a peer-to-peer connection with other users.
- A large amount of latency is causing the match-making process to time-out.
- You're connected to an internet service type that is not recommended. We recommend using a high-speed, wired Internet connection such as a Cable, DSL, or Fiber Optic Internet connection.
Possible solutions
- Try connecting to a different network, preferably with a Cable, DSL, or Fiber Optic Internet connection.
- If you receive this error code every time you attempt to connect with others, or when attempting to connect with a specific player, try our online match-making troubleshooting steps.
