How to Package a Service Request

Complete these steps

• 1. Complete an order letter to include in the box

  The letter should include:

  • Name, return shipping address, and phone number.
  • Order number.
  • A brief description of the problem you are having.
  • An itemized list of all the items you are including with your service request. (Please note, if your service request is for a replacement, no additional items should be included in the box.)
• 2. Prepare your items and box for shipping
  1. Unless the service request requires them, remove all games and any additional accessories.

     Important: Please attempt to remove all stickers and screen protectors. Stickers and screen protectors may not be returned depending on the required service.

     • If you are sending a Nintendo 3DS family system, include the SD card. You can leave it in the system.
  2. Place small items and games in a sealable plastic bag, if possible, to prevent loss.
  3. Wrap any systems in clear kitchen cling wrap.
  4. Place the items and the letter in a plain box and pad it well to prevent damage.

     Important: The shipping box you use must not have any previous labels on it. If previous labels cannot be removed, they must be completely covered so that no part of the original label is visible.

     • Do not use a padded envelope or the original box that the item came in. The box you send will be recycled.
• 3. Add the shipping address to the box

  Attach the provided shipping label to the box or write the service center's address on the outside of the box.

  • The address is included on the shipping label or letter you received when you set up the service request order.
• 4. Add your return address and order number

  Write your return address on the outside of the box.

  • For U.S. service requests, write the order number beneath the address.
