In this article, you'll learn how to find the serial number for a Joy-Con controller within System Settings on a Nintendo Switch system.
Complete these steps
- Ensure the Joy-Con controller(s) are attached to the Nintendo Switch System.
- From the HOME Menu on the Nintendo Switch System, select System Settings.
- Scroll down the menu on the left-hand side and select System, followed by Serial Information.
- The serial number for each attached Joy-Con will be displayed separately, noted by an (L) or (R).
