This error can occur if you have recently changed the country setting on your Nintendo Account.

Complete these steps

  1. Change your Nintendo Account country setting back to what it was before the error occurred.
  2. Launch the Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu using the updated Nintendo Account.
  3. Exit the Nintendo eShop.
  4. Change your Nintendo Account country setting to the desired country, and launch the Nintendo eShop once more.
