Why Was Super Mario 3D All-Stars Only Available for a Limited Time?
In special recognition of the 35th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. game, Nintendo made available several Super Mario related products during an anniversary period that lasted until March 31, 2021. Some of these products were made available for a limited time, including the Super Mario 3D All-Stars game released September 18, 2020 on Nintendo eShop and at retailers.
As of March 31, 2021, the digital version of Super Mario 3D All-Stars can no longer be purchased from Nintendo eShop. Those who purchased the digital version of Super Mario 3D All-Stars are still able to play or to redownload the game if it was deleted from their device. Download codes for Super Mario 3D All-Stars can still be redeemed in Nintendo eShop.
