How do I set up a service request order?

It's possible that some troubleshooting could resolve the problem with your console so that you don't have to send it to be serviced. If the recommended solutions don't resolve the problem and you need service, you can set up a service request (U.S. and Canada) for your Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch family, or Nintendo 3DS family consoles, or you can find a list of Nintendo Authorized Service Centers (Latin America).

Select your console to start the process:

Where do I take my console for service?

If you are located in the U.S. or Canada, you can set up a service request order online (only available in English), or you can call our Consumer Service Department at 1-800-255-3700. Our support specialists are available from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pacific Time (UTC -08:00) in English and Spanish. French specialists are available from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Time.

If you are located in Latin America, please contact the closest Nintendo Authorized Service Center.

How long does my warranty last?

The warranty on hardware products, accessories, and games published by Nintendo, lasts for one year from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is needed to receive warranty service. To learn more, please read our Warranty and Service Information for the U.S. and Canada, Argentina, Mexico, or for Latin America.

What is covered by my warranty?

The warranty guarantees that hardware, games (only those published by Nintendo), and accessories shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty is not valid without proof of purchase. Physical damage is not covered by the warranty, but it is possible that Nintendo or one of our Authorized Service centers can service your product. To learn more, please read our Warranty and Service Information for the U.S. and Canada or for Latin America.

How can I check if my Nintendo product is under warranty?

You will need the sales receipt or bill from an authorized retailer as proof of purchase. This proof of purchase must be presented to the Nintendo Authorized Service center, and they will determine if the service will be covered under the warranty.
