How to Use the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as a Wired Controller
Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model
Follow these steps to connect and use the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller as a wired controller on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
Important: The NFC touchpoint on the Pro Controller will be disabled when the controller is using wired communication.
Before you start
You will need:
- Your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console
- Your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch dock
- Nintendo Switch Pro Controller
- USB cable (model No. HAC-010)
Complete these steps
Are you using the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller on a Nintendo Switch 2 or a Nintendo Switch?

Nintendo Switch 2
- From the HOME Menu, select System Settings, then Controllers and Accessories.
- Toggle on the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller Wired Communication setting.
- Connect the Pro Controller to the Nintendo Switch 2 dock with the included USB cable (model No. HAC-010)

- Place the console in the dock.
- Press the SYNC Button
once on the Pro Controller to disconnect it from the console (the Player LEDs at the bottom of the controller will shut off).
- Press any other button on the Pro Controller to activate the wired connection.

Nintendo Switch
- From the HOME Menu, select System Settings, then Controllers and Sensors.
- Set Pro Controller Wired Communication to OnSíOuiSim.
- Connect the Pro Controller to the Nintendo Switch dock with the included USB cable (model No. HAC-010)

- Place the console in the dock.
- Press the
