Steps to help you when the control sticks do not work or react correctly on Nintendo Switch Lite.
What to do
- Use the touch screen to verify that the Console Button Input setting is set to OnSíOuiSim if there are any wireless controllers paired to the system.

- Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
- Navigate to the Controllers and Sensors section, then select Console Button Input.
- Select this option again to turn the setting from off to on.

- Check that your system has the latest system update.

- Select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the System Settings menu and select System.
- Select System Update to start the system update process.
- The system will check to see if an update is available.

How to calibrate the control sticks
- From the HOME Menu select System Settings, then scroll down the menu on the left-hand side and select Controllers and Sensors.

- Select Calibrate Control Sticks then fully tilt the control stick in any single direction for a few seconds on the controller you want to calibrate.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to verify the control stick functionality.

- If the calibration is complete but is not immediately reflected when testing the control sticks, do the following:
- Set the console to sleep mode, then press the POWER Button to "wake it up" again.
- Reset the Joy-Con
or Pro Controllerby pressing the SYNC Button once, then press any other button to power it on again.
- From the HOME Menu select System Settings, then scroll down the menu on the left-hand side and select Controllers and Sensors.

Issue only occurs in a specific game or application
- Check for any available software updates for that game.
- Check the in-game options and instructions for any unique control settings that may affect movement.
- For example, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe features tilt controls that may give the impression that the control sticks aren’t responding correctly. Those tilt controls can be deactivated in-game.
