"Detach the Joy-Con" Message Displayed During First Time Setup on Nintendo Switch Lite

You are unable to complete the first time setup on Nintendo Switch Lite because a message is displayed, "Detach the Joy-Con."
Important: The Joy-Con can be used as wireless controllers with Nintendo Switch Lite, but they cannot be physically attached to the system.
What to do
- Press and hold down the POWER Button for twelve seconds to force the system to shut off.
- Power on the system again to start the first time setup process again. Once you reach the screen to "Add a User," be sure to press the A Button, and continue to follow the prompts.
- Once the first time setup is complete, ensure your system has the latest system update.
