The controller is designed to look and operate like the original controller for the Super NES, which adds an authentic feel to playing Super NES™ games.
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System™ Controller comes in a single-pack that includes one controller and one USB cable for recharging. It is available exclusively to Nintendo Switch Online members (limit four purchases per Nintendo Account).

General Information
Has the Super Nintendo Entertainment System™ Controller changed at all from its original design?
While keeping the design of the original Super NES controller, the new controller is wireless. It also has a USB connector along the top, so it can be charged while connected to the Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch dock or while using the Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch AC Adapter.
Is this new controller the same one that was released for the Super NES Classic Edition system?
No, the Super NES Classic Edition controller is different from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System Controller, designed for use with the Super NES – Nintendo Switch Online collection of games. The two are not interchangeable.
