What is a Warp Pipe Pass?
Available during certain Nintendo events, a Warp Pipe Pass is a reservation that allows you to experience a select game or activity during a sepcific day and time period.
Warp Pipe Pass holders will take a shortcut and gain priority access in line during their designated time to line up and play, which is a great way for attendees to plan their day in advance and reduce wait time in lines.

Registering for a Warp Pipe Pass
How do I sign up for a Warp Pipe Pass?
- Make sure you meet the requirements to sign up for a Warp Pipe Pass:
- You must have a valid badge or other required pass for entry to the event (sold by the event sponsor or venue).
- You must have a Nintendo Account. Follow our steps to create a Nintendo Account if you do not have one.
- Select the upcoming or ongoing event you are attending on experience.nintendo.com.
- Select the game or activity you want a Warp Pipe Pass to experience.
- If registration is currently open, select the date and time for your Warp Pipe Pass.
- The deadline to register for a Warp Pipe Pass is 11:59pm PT the night before the event begins.
Warp Pipe Passes are only available while supplies last.
Will I be able to sign up on-site for a Warp Pipe Pass?
No, you will not be able to sign up on-site to reserve a pass for the same day. The deadline to reserve a pass is the day before the event, should there be any passes available. Only a limited amount of Warp Pipe Passes will be available for select games/activities. There will also be a regular, standby line available.
Can I register for more than one pass for the same game/activity?
No, attendees can only register for one pass per game/activity over the course of the event. Reservations with more than one pass to a single game/activity per day will be cancelled.
I see timeslots listed, but I am unable to select any. What's wrong?
If all timeslots are grayed out, then that means there are no more timeslots available. You can only select timeslots that appear blue (available).
Will you hold my timeslot until I finish the entire RSVP process?
We will hold your timeslot for 10 minutes only if you are logged in to your Nintendo Account and have selected a valid timeslot.
I want to ensure that my friend and I can go at the same hour. How do I do that?
Nintendo cannot guarantee that you will be able to secure the same time slot. We encourage you and your friend to access the event site when passes go live to have the best chance to reserve your Warp Pipe Passes together.
Can I register for my friend?
No, but if they are also attending the event, we encourage your friend to try and secure their own pass. If they do not have a Nintendo Account, they can sign up for one, free of charge, by visiting https://accounts.nintendo.com/register.
Can I make changes to the names on my reservation or can I give my pass to a friend or family member?
Warp Pipe Passes are non-transferrable. Passes are one-time use only.
Can I cancel my reservation?
We encourage you to cancel your reservation if you’re not able to attend. This will allow others the opportunity to reserve a pass in advance.
Using a Warp Pipe Pass
Do you need a Warp Pipe Pass in order to experience these games/activities?
No, it’s not required to get a Warp Pipe Pass to experience these games/activities. Warp Pipe Passes help reduce your wait time in line for particular activities.
If you do not want to commit to a specific time, activities will have standby lines. Warp Pipe Pass holders will have priority access over those in standby lines.
I arrived early for my Warp Pipe Pass window. Can I redeem my pass?
No, please come to the booth during your designated time that is stated on your pass.
What if I missed my Warp Pipe Pass arrival window? Can I still play that game?
If you miss your time slot to redeem your Warp Pipe Pass, your pass is no longer valid for the Warp Pipe Pass entry line. You can still use the standby line, however.
What if I’m not able to pull up the pass due to poor internet access at the event?
When you register for a Warp Pipe Pass, we will email you your pass to the email address associated with your Nintendo Account. We recommend that you print this pass in the case there is no internet connectivity on the show floor.
I don’t think I received an email with my pass. What can I do?
Please check that the pass was successfully registered by verifying it under “My RSVPs” from the navigation bar. If the pass exists, you can always use your browser to print it out by clicking "Check In" from the navigation bar. You will use the same QR Code even if you signed up for multiple activities.
We will also send a copy of the pass to the e-mail address of your Nintendo Account. Be sure to check the SPAM folder for this pass.
How do I know which activity the Check-In for the Warp Pipe Pass is for?
The pass in the "Check In" menu is the same pass for all registered activities. We will verify on-site if you have registered for an activity by scanning your pass.
Do I need to print out my pass?
You can either show your pass to a staff member electronically or print out your pass. We recommend printing your pass if possible to ensure that it is available to be scanned upon entry.
