Note: This error code indicates that the downloadable content you tried to purchase is exclusive Nintendo Switch Online members, but you do not have an active, paid membership.
What to do
- Sign out of your Nintendo Account and sign back in with a Nintendo Account that has an active, paid Nintendo Switch Online membership.
- Nintendo Accounts under a free trial of Nintendo Switch Online will not be able to download the exclusive content.
- If you do not have a Nintendo Switch Online membership, you will first need to purchase a membership to download the content.
