Either Screen Has Lines
The information in this article can help you when there are lines present on either screen of the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL.
Note: If you are seeing lines on the screen that slowly fade away after turning off the system, this is normal.
What to do
If you see lines on either screen of your system during game play, then it is likely one or more of the components that create the image on the screen are damaged. This usually occurs if there has been an impact, such as being dropped or hit, to the system's screens. Unfortunately, your product cannot be fixed with troubleshooting, and service requests for this product are no longer offered from Nintendo.
