How to Adjust VR Settings (Super Mario Odyssey)
Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model
Follow these steps to adjust or disable VR settings in Super Mario Odyssey.
Important
- VR Mode should only be used by players age 7 and up. Please see “Information About the VR Mode of Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit” for additional information about the VR feature.
- The Toy-Con VR Goggles accessory is not compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch Lite. Nintendo Switch – OLED Model has a larger screen which may impact the VR effect while using Toy-Con VR Goggles.
Information
- You can use the VR Mode in three playable levels, and watch some of the in-game movies.
- The selected VR Mode setting will apply for everyone who uses the Nintendo Switch console.
Before you start
Your game must be updated to ver 1.3 or higher to access VR Mode.
Complete these steps
- Start Super Mario Odyssey from the HOME Menu.
- Select Playing in VR from the game's main menu.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to calibrate your Nintendo Switch console.
- When asked if you want to use the VR Goggles, select Use VR Goggles or Don't Use VR Goggles.
- Choose the level or cinematic from the onscreen options to access it in VR Mode.
