How to Pair the Poké Ball Plus with Pokémon Go

In this article, you'll learn how to pair the Pokémon GO smart device app with a Poké Ball Plus.

Complete these steps

  1. On the Pokémon GO app, tap the Poké Ball icon, then select Settings.
  2. Scroll down to Poké Ball Plus, and select it.
  3. Press the Top Button on the Poké Ball Plus to make it appear in the list of Available Devices on Pokémon GO.
    • It should appear in the list with a flashing green circle in the middle of the icon.
  4. On Pokémon GO, tap the Poké Ball Plus in the list to pair them together.
    • When the Poké Ball Plus has been paired with the app, it will display in the list with bright colors and a solid green circle in the middle.
