How to Receive a Mystery Gift (Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu!/Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!)

Follow these steps to use the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!.

Note
  • Mystery Gift is a feature in the game that allows players to redeem download codes, connect to a Poké Ball Plus to redeem Mew, or connect wirelessly to Nintendo-sponsored events to obtain special Pokémon or items.
  • Once you have received a gift, it will appear in your Pokémon Box.
  • For information about current or upcoming Mystery Gift distributions, please visit pokemon.com.

Before you start

  • The Mystery Gift feature becomes available after you have battled your Rival for the first time. Before then, the Communicate menu option will be grayed out.
  • The Poké Ball Plus option is only available when using the Poké Ball Plus as your in-game controller.

Complete these steps

  1. Launch Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! from the HOME Menu.
  2. Press the X Button during gameplay to access the in-game menu.
  3. Select Communicate.
  4. Select Mystery Gifts.
How do you want to receive the gift?
  • Internet (Nintendo Network Distribution)
    1. Select Get Via Internet and select Yes to continue.
    2. The game will search for any gifts that are currently available.
    3. Once you have received a gift, it will be in your Pokémon Box and you can add it to your party.
      • To change Pokémon in your party, press the X Button to open the in-game menu, then Party. Select Open Pokémon Box to see and manage the Pokémon you’ve collected.
  • Download Code/Password
    1. Select Get With Code/Password and select Yes twice to continue.
    2. Enter the code you received and tap OK Aceptar OK OK .
    3. Once you have received a gift, it will be in your Pokémon Box and you can add it to your party.
      • To change Pokémon in your party, press the X Button to open the in-game menu, then Party. Select Open Pokémon Box to see and manage the Pokémon you’ve collected.
  • Poké Ball Plus Accessory
    1. Select Get with a Poké Ball Plus.
    2. You will see a message that says "A Pokémon is in your Poké Ball Plus. It’s a present for you!" Select Yes twice to connect to the Internet and receive the Pokémon.
    3. Once you have received a gift, it will be in your Pokémon Box and you can add it to your party.
      • To change Pokémon in your party, press the X Button to open the in-game menu, then Party. Select Open Pokémon Box to see and manage the Pokémon you’ve collected.
