Note
- Players can purchase new fighters (some including their own stage and music) as DLC for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
- When DLC is purchased by one player on the console, it will also be available to the other players on the console where the virtual game card is loaded. All DLC for the game is treated as one virtual game card.
Fighters Pass
- Includes Challenger Packs 1 through 5 (each Challenger Pack includes 1 New Fighter, 1 New Stage, and Music) AND an exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Rex Mii Fighter costume.
- The Fighters Pass does not include the Piranha Plant fighter.
Fighters Pass Vol. 2
- Includes Challenger Packs 6 through 11 (each Challenger Pack includes 1 New Fighter, 1 New Stage, and Music).
- Includes an exclusive Ancient Soldier Mii Fighter Costume, available immediately with purchase of Fighters Pass Vol. 2.
Individual Challenger Pack
- Includes 1 Fighter + 1 Stage + Music

- Challenger Pack 1 includes Joker as a playable fighter, his stage, and a selection of music from the Persona series.
- Challenger Pack 2 includes Hero as a playable fighter, his stage, and a selection of music from the DRAGON QUEST series.
- Challenger Pack 3 includes Banjo & Kazooie as a playable fighter, their stage, and a selection of music from the Banjo-Kazooie series.
- Challenger Pack 4 includes Terry Bogard as a playable fighter, his stage, and a selection of music from the Fatal Fury series.
- Challenger Pack 5 includes Byleth as a playable fighter, their stage, and a selection of music from the Fire Emblem series.
- Challenger Pack 6 includes Min Min as a playable fighter, her stage, and a selection of music from the ARMS game.
