Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model

Steps for when the error code 2813-0998 is displayed while attempting to access Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.

Before you start

You will need:

Log into your Nintendo Account on accounts.nintendo.com, and check that the country setting is correct.
Once the country setting has been updated on your Nintendo Account to a country where Nintendo eShop is available, power off your console and then power it back on.

  1. Press and hold the POWER Button for at least three seconds.
  2. Select Power Options.
  3. Select Power Off.

  1. Press and hold the POWER Button for at least three seconds.
  2. Select Power Options.
  3. Select Turn Off.
After powering the console back on, you should be able to access Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu. You may need to re-enter your Nintendo Account login.
