How to Format a Nintendo DSi/Nintendo DSi XL System's Memory

In this article, you'll learn how to format the System Memory on the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL.
Note: This option is used to delete all saved data that has been stored on the system and will wipe the system memory clean, as it was when purchased new.
Complete these steps
- On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings (wrench) icon.
- Select the right arrow three times to go to page 4, then select Format System Memory.
- Select Format every time when asked to erase all data.
