How to Install or Change the Batteries in a Wii Balance Board

In this article, you'll learn how to install batteries in the Wii Balance Board.
Important: Rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries may be used with the accessory. Manufacturer guidelines must be used for safety and proper usage. Failure to do so could cause damage to the Wii Balance Board and void the warranty.
Complete these steps
- Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the Wii Balance Board.
- Insert four AA batteries according to the diagram in the battery compartment.
- Remove the positive (+) end first when replacing batteries.
- Insert the negative (-) end first when inserting new batteries.
- Be sure to close the battery compartment before using the accessory.
