- In order to back up save data, you must have at least one USB storage device that has been formatted to work with the Wii U. Your system also needs to have the latest system update applied.
- With the latest system update, dates were added to all save data. When backing up save data, please note the date of the most recent copy to avoid accidently copying over your latest saves.
