General Fixes for Broken or Damaged Toy-Con

• If a piece of cardboard on a Toy-Con is bent, you can reinforce the affected piece using some of the leftover cardboard sheets.
• If the cardboard on a Toy-Con is torn, you can mend the torn pieces together using adhesive tape.

• If the VR Lenses are dirty, it is recommended to use compressed air to blow away any dust or dirt. Then use a soft cloth wipe to away any smudges.

• If a reflective sticker is no longer adhering to a cardboard piece on the Toy-Con, it is recommended to use double-sided tape or glue to adhere the sticker to the cardboard again.

  Do not use clear, adhesive tape over the reflective stickers, as this will likely affect the way the light reflects back to the IR motion camera.

• If the reflective stickers are damaged and cannot be used, you can replace them with pieces of commercially available reflective tape.

  Do not replace reflective stickers with materials such as clear plastic tape or tinfoil, as this will likely affect the way the light reflects back to the IR motion camera.

• If a grommet was placed incorrectly on the cardboard, you can remove it using a coin or other small flat object.

  Gently insert the coin in between the cardboard and the grommet ring to loosen it. Keep in mind that if a grommet was placed backwards, it will not affect the Toy-Con performance.

  

• If the string for the Fishing Rod or the Robot Toy-Con is damaged, you can replace it with one of a similar length.
• If a rubber band is damaged, you can replace it with one of a similar size.

Sponge stickers are not required to complete a Toy-Con.

If a sponge sticker is damaged and cannot be used, this will not affect the Toy-Con's performance.

The straps are used for the Robot Toy-Con only.
