The information in this article can help you when the Wii Balance Board won’t sync with the Wii system, or the power light on the Wii Balance Board keeps blinking.
What to do
- The Wii Balance Board will only communicate with the Wii Console if a compatible game is being used. It must also be synced to each game individually. Before proceeding, make sure that the game being played displays the following icon on its packing:
- Check the battery life of the batteries in the Wii Balance Board. If the battery level is low, try a fresh set of batteries.
- Re-sync the Wii Balance Board to the Wii console.
- Unplug the power cord from the console, and let it sit for at least a few seconds. After letting it sit, plug the console back in.
