How to Manage / Delete Game Save Data on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch

Steps to remove save data from the system memory for a single user or delete all save data for specific software on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
Important: Once deleted, save data cannot be recovered.
Complete these steps
- Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down and select Data ManagementGestión de datosGestion des donnéesGerenciar dados, then Delete Save Data.
- Enter your Parental Controls PIN, if prompted.
- Select the game title for which you want to delete the save data.
- Select the user whose save data you want to delete, or select Delete Save Data for this Software to delete the save data for all users.
- Select Delete Save Data to confirm.
Additional information
Game save data is stored in the console’s internal memory and cannot be saved or moved to a microSD card.
