How to Enable/Disable Pro Controller Wired Communication
Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model
Steps on how to enable wired communication with the Pro Controller when it is connected to either the Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console using the USB charging cable.
Important: The Pro Controller can be used as a wired controller with Nintendo Switch Lite using a licensed accessory, such as the Dual USB PlayStand for Nintendo Switch Lite by HORI.
Note: While the Pro Controller is using wired communication, the NFC touchpoint on the controller will be disabled.
Complete these steps
- From the HOME Menu select System Settings, then select Controllers & Accessories on Nintendo Switch 2 or Controllers and Sensors on Nintendo Switch.
- Select Pro Controller Wired Communication to enable this feature. Select it again to disable it.
