How to Manage Multiple Consoles in the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls App
Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model
Follow these steps to add more consoles or swap between multiple consoles in the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls smart device application.
Note: Both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch consoles can be linked to the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app. Up to eight consoles can be managed using the app at one time.
Complete these steps

Adding a Nintendo Switch 2 console
- If you haven't added a console yet, link one to the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app.
- In the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app, tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner.
- Select Add a Switch 2 or Switch.
- Select Next to get the Link Code for the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app.
- On the Nintendo Switch 2 console, select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
- Scroll down to highlight Parental Controls.

"Change Settings" appears instead of "Set Up Parental Controls"
This means you have already set up Parental Controls on the system without using the app.

- Select Set up in the (free) Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app.
- Select App Has Been Installed, then select Next to verify that you have the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app.

"Change Settings" appears instead of "Set Up Parental Controls"
- Enter the six-digit Link Code from your smart device. Select OK.
- Select Link to link the Nintendo Switch 2 to your smart device, then select OK on both the console and your smart device.
- Once the link is complete, you can use the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app to set parental controls restrictions.

This means you have already set up Parental Controls on the system without using the app.
- Select Change Settings.
- Enter your PIN.
- Select Use Your Smart Device.
- Select Yes to verify that you have the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app.
- Select Change Settings.

"Change Settings" appears instead of "Parental Controls Settings"
- Enter the six-digit Link Code from your smart device. Select OK.
- Select Link to link the Nintendo Switch to your smart device, then select OK on both the console and your smart device.
- Once the link is complete, you can use the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app to set parental controls restrictions.

Selecting a different console
- In the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app, tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner.
- A list will appear of all linked consoles. Locate the console that you want to switch to, and tap it to make it the active console for the app.
- If you have trouble identifying which console is which, tap the three dots icon to the right of the console to view the serial number. You can compare this to the serial number on the console.
