How to Turn Airplane Mode On/Off on Nintendo Switch

How to activate and deactivate Airplane Mode on a Nintendo Switch console.
Important
- All wireless communication, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, will be turned off when Airplane Mode is activated. Some types of wireless communication can be switched back on manually.
- To use Joy-Con wirelessly, Bluetooth communication must be turned on. This can be turned back on manually after activating Airplane Mode.
- From the HOME Menu, select System Settings, then Airplane Mode, then Controller Connection (Bluetooth), and enable Bluetooth communication.
Complete these steps
From the System Settings menu
- Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
- From the options on the left, select Airplane Mode.
- Select Airplane Mode on the right-hand side, then press the A Button to activate it. To deactivate it, press A Button again.
From the Quick Settings screen
- Press and hold the HOME Button for at least one second to access Quick Settings.
- Select Airplane Mode on the Quick Settings screen, then press the A Button to activate it. To deactivate it, press the A Button again.
Additional information
Airplane mode can be enabled in handheld mode or tabletop mode only. It cannot be used in TV mode.
