Error Code: 2153-1540

What to do

1. Restart the console.

     1. Press and hold the POWER Button for at least three seconds.

     3. Select Restart.

   • If the console does not respond, hold down the POWER Button for twelve seconds to force it to shut down. Then power it on again.
2. Confirm that the console has the latest system update.

     1. Select System Settings on the HOME Menu.
        
     2. Scroll down to the bottom of the System Settings menu and select System.
     3. Select System Update.
        
        • If an update is available, it will begin to download.

   • Unable to update system

     If you are unable to update the console because the same error continues to occur, the console will need to be sent in for service.

     • If the error occurs only when playing a specific game, include that game with the service request order.

3. If you are no longer receiving the error code, continue to play the console and monitor for further occurrences of this error in the future.
