Steps for when:
- You are unable to register a physical game card on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch for My Nintendo Gold Points.
- You receive the Error Message: "This game card has already been registered by another user."

As of March 25, 2026 it is no longer possible to register Nintendo Switch software to earn Gold Points.
