Can In-Game Save Features Be Used?
Important: Although the in-game save options are available for the games listed below, you will still need to save your progress to a Suspend Point. Otherwise, if you start your game from a Suspend Point, the in-game save data will be overwritten by the new progress and cannot be recovered.
All pre-loaded games included in the NES Classic Edition and Super NES Classic Edition systems feature four Suspend Point slots where you can save your game progress. We do not have additional information on the individual in-game save functionality for these titles. However, you are welcome to consult the game manuals online.
In addition to this, the games that included in-game save options on the original NES and original Super NES will also have this same functionality on the Classic Edition consoles. Select each system to view a list of these games.
