Complete these steps
- Hook up the NES Classic Edition to your television or monitor.
- Connect one end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI port on your television or monitor, and the other end to the HDMI port on the back of the control deck.
- Connect one end of the USB cable to the AC adapter and the other end to the USB port to the back of the control deck. Then plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet.

- Connect the NES Classic Controller to port No. 1 on the front of the control deck.
- You can also use a compatible controller.
- When disconnecting a controller, be sure to press the tabs on the plug, then gently slide out the connector from the control deck.
- Ensure the control deck is placed on a flat, solid surface.
- Press the POWER Button ON.
- Select the correct HDMI input on your television or monitor.
