How to Turn Auto Power-Down On or Off

In this article, you'll learn how to turn Auto Power-Down on or off.
Note: For the purposes of energy conservation, the default setting for the Wii U system will power it down if there is no controller input for a one-hour period. In the case of video on demand applications, that time is extended to four hours.
Complete these steps
- From the Wii U Menu, select System Settings.
- Using the Left Stick, scroll to the Power Settings icon and press the A Button.
- Select Auto Power-Down.
- Select Enable or Disable to toggle the Auto Power-Down function.
- Select OK to confirm.
