How to Switch the Screen Display While on the Wii U Menu

In this article, you'll learn how to switch the display between the TV screen and the Wii U GamePad while on the Wii U Menu.
Note
- While the Wii U Menu is being displayed on the TV screen, it cannot be controlled using the Wii U GamePad. It must be first switched back to the Wii U GamePad. However, while the Wii U Menu is being displayed on the TV screen, it can be controlled using a Wii Remote, Wii Remote Plus, or a Wii U Pro Controller that has been previously paired with the console.
What to do
In order to toggle the display between the Wii U GamePad and the TV screen, press the X Button on the Wii U GamePad or select the toggle icon on the top-right corner of the Wii U GamePad screen.
- When the Wii U Menu is displayed on the Wii U GamePad, the WaraWara Plaza is displayed on the TV screen and vice versa.
