What SD Cards are Compatible with Wii U?

Applies to:  Wii U Deluxe, Wii U Basic

Note: An SD card Adapter is required when using mini SD or micro SD cards.

SD memory cards with a capacity of up to 2 GB and SDHC memory cards with a capacity of up to 32 GB are compatible.

SDXC and fast-transfer UHS-type memory cards are not compatible.
