Metroid Prime Trilogy Game-Specific Troubleshooting
Wii & Wii mini
The information in this article can help you when:
- The Wii console is having issues reading the Game Disc.
- Error messages and/or freezing occur during gameplay.
- The game is experiencing audio problems (sound skips, static sound, or any other intermittent sound problems).
- The game is experiencing image problems (squares, lines or other shapes appearing on the screen, image choppy or skipping, dots, any other intermittent image problems).
Note
- This game utilizes a dual-layer disc which has a large memory capacity. A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is contamination on the lens of the disc drive.
- If the problem is occurring with multiple game discs, you may also find our information on general Wii troubleshooting helpful.
What to do
Check the non-printed side of the Game Disc for any dirt or damage:
- If the game looks significantly damaged, such as with scratches or cracks, it will need to be replaced.
- If the game looks dirty (fingerprints, smudges), try cleaning the Game Disc.
