Notes:

• Download Codes purchased from retailers will be found on the receipt. If the code is through a promotion online, the code will be found in the confirmation email.
• Download codes are different than the activation codes found on Nintendo eShop prepaid cards. If you are having an issue with redeeming funds from a prepaid card, click here.
• Redeeming a download code requires you connect to the Nintendo eShop. If this is your first time using the Nintendo eShop on Wii U, ensure you have done the following:
  • Set up an Internet connection on the Wii U console. How to

What to Do:

1. From the Wii U Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon.
2. Select "Enter Download Code." This located at the top of the screen.
3. Enter the Download Code.
   • You do not need to include dashes when entering a download code.
