How to Update Yo-Kai Watch

In this article, you'll learn how to installing the update for Yo-Kai Watch.
Note
- Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.
- After downloading the update, please do not delete the update data. Update data can be viewed in the Downloadable Content area of the Data Management menu.
- As of April 8, 2024, online play and other functionality that uses online communication has ended for Nintendo 3DS family software.
As of February 25, 2016, new update data for Yo-Kai Watch has been made available for download in the Nintendo eShop. We recommend that all Yo-Kai Watch players download and install this update data.
What to do
- Perform a system update to ensure you have the most up-to-date version.
- Download the Yo-Kai Watch Update from the Nintendo eShop or the HOME Menu.
- Once the download is complete, the update will automatically be applied. The newest version number will be displayed on the title screen.
