How to Update The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D

In this article, you'll learn how to update The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D.

Note
  • You can still use previous save data after downloading this update.
  • Update data will be saved on the SD Card that is inserted into the system.
    • If there is not enough space on the SD Card, the update will not be completed.
    • In order to check available space, select System Settings from the Home Menu and then select Data Management.
  • After downloading the update, please do not delete the update data. Update data can be viewed in the "Downloadable Content" area of the Data Management menu.

As of February 27, 2015, new update data for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D has been made available for download in the Nintendo eShop. We recommend that all The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D players download and install this update data.

Complete these steps

  1. Perform a system update to ensure you have the most up-to-date version.
  2. Start the Nintendo eShop and search for "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D" and tap the item for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D Update Ver. 1.1.
  3. On The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D Update Ver. 1.1 page, select Tap Here to Download and follow the on-screen directions.
    • Once the download is complete, the update will automatically be applied.
    • The update data will be saved on the SD Card inserted in your Nintendo 3DS system.
  4. Start The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D and check that it has been updated correctly. If the version number shown is Ver. 1.1, the update has been successful.

Update history

Ver. 1.1 (Released February 27, 2015)

  • Fixed the issue in which an “ERROR!****” message appears in-game
  • Fixed the issue in which users become unable to swing their swords after playing at Honey and Darling’s Shop
  • Adjustments have been made to make for a more fun gaming experience
